Adding a mirror to a wall can be a great way to enhance the look and feel of any room. Mirror tiles are an excellent choice for this purpose, as they offer flexibility in terms of size and placement and wont break the bank. Not only do they add visual interest, but they can also make a space feel larger and brighter by reflecting light. Additionally, mirrors can be used to create unique design features or focal points within a room. Overall, adding mirror tiles to a wall can be a cost-effective and stylish way to improve the look and functionality of your living space.

Step 1
Measure
The first step is to measure out the space. Keep in mind that you need to allow for both the mirrors and the space between and on the sides. I like to use a level to keep lines straight.
Step 2
Tape it Out
With a guide line in place, tape out the area you want the mirror to go with painters tape. Thicker tape is great for beginners to ensure you stay in the lines. I also like to tape over corners.
Step 3
Mod Podge
If you are working on a smooth wall, you can mod podge the seam of the tape to help prevent leaks and get a crisp line. Using the current wall paint also works.
Step 4
Time to Paint
Paint the ‘mirror’! I choose to use Sherwin Williams Black Fox to coordinate with the other dark accents in this home. Feel free to go as light or dark as you want to fit your style.
Step 5
Paint it Again
Even though most of the wall will be covered, it is always a good practice to use two coats of paint, especially on bare walls. This will ensure you don’t need to touch up between panels.
Step 6
Add Mirror Tiles
Use a level to place the mirrors in a grid pattern and secure them using construction adhesive for mirrors. Note this is a bit easier (and a lot less up and down a ladder) with two sets of hands.
Step 7
Touch Ups
This wall was pretty textured, so even with the mod podge, the paint bled through the tape. To create a crisp look, I added a thin wood border and just filled in the gaps! You can always adapt!
Step 8
Admire Your Work
Ta-da! You did it! Now take a step back and admire your handy work! How much better does this wall look with just a few supplies? Plus it reflects light and makes the space look larger!
In conclusion, adding a mirror to a wall using mirror tiles is a great way to enhance the aesthetic appeal of any room while also providing practical benefits. Mirror tiles are versatile and can be arranged in various patterns, making it easy to create a custom design to suit any style. Moreover, mirrors can create the illusion of a larger space, reflect natural light, and add depth to a room. By adding a mirror using mirror tiles, one can significantly transform any space with minimal effort and cost.
